Hello, my name is Hamath. And I decided to document my journey as a Citizen. Firstly I want to write down what happened before that decision.
This is a long one, read time is about:
The very first day.

After I got my first ship, I had to reach it first and so I flew a loaner Mustang from New Babbage on microTech to Port Tressler right above it in Space. There I took over control of my very own Avenger Titan! I had a look around and did a few Delivery Missions for Luminalia.
The first week.
The next few day I flew here and there in Stanton and did a few more Delivery Mission for Luminalia. I also met a few fellow Citizens, had a few quick chats with them and I soon did Invest into an C1 Spirit for a bigger hauling ship and to take other Citizens with me, as it has a seat for a Co-Pilot to control the built-in tractor-beam.

The Crusader Industries C1 Spirit is a Ship with decent Cargo Capacity, even capable to carry two 32 SCU containers and a variety of vehicles it can still fly decently and has an airlock style ramp, so you can hold on to your precious artificial atmosphere.
Meeting 51R10
51R10 is the name of a new friend of mine, that I met when he offered good money to pick him up from one planet and bring him to a certain Station. Only after accepting his offer, I learned that he was escaping prison! I managed to get him to tell me, why he was sent there and I realized that he was just defending himself from an attack by other Citizens.
The Escape
So I flew my C1 Spirit to Aberdeen and got the coordinates of the Klescher Rehabilitation Facility where 51R10 was kept. Even from orbit I noticed a yellow tint to the whole planet, which would turn out to be the color of the Air.

I flew a low approach, almost hitting the hills on the ground multiple times. I waited about 8km out from the Facility and opened the rear ramp of my C1 Spirit. Doing this I noticed that the Atmosphere was quite hot, about 230°C. My suit showed that the composition of gases was quite a deadly poison.
On the mark of 51R10 I speed for the remaining distance and evaded the patrols of the Klescher Rehabilitation Facility, keeping an eye out for my friend and landing as closely as possible to him. After he was inside and closed the rear ramp, we ran away as fast as possible.

Cleaning the Record
Now we headed to Grim Hex, to try to clean 51R10’s record. But his “crimes” where to high to be able to do it from here. So we just bought some new armor, weapons, food and Tigersclaw, which are needed to hack the next place, where we went to.

Orbits Yela — Stanton system
Grim Hex is dangerous and a lot criminals go there to clear their CrimeStat, which leads to a lot of bounty hunters with which we too had a few close encounters with.
The next stop was the Security Post Kareah, where 51R10 could wipe himself from the Criminal Database stored there.

IF he managed to reach the one console where he could hack into the system and managed to do this without leaving witnesses, he would finally be free.
After dropping him off here, as close to the Station as possible I retreated to a save distance. And came only back to pick him once he was done.
He paid me handsomely and we became friends through this ordeal. I used his money to buy a large Ship for hauling, the Drake Caterpillar and a Argo ATLS exosuit for (un-)loading the large cargo containers, as the build in tractor beams of the Caterpillar are not placed well for the actual loading of the ship, more so for moving cargo around outside.

The Drake Interplanetary Caterpillar is one of the largest cargo ships and offers full access on both sides of all 4 cargo modules + one nose module to facilitate quick turnaround times. Two Turrets allow it to hold it’s own, when necessary, even when fully loaded.
Of course I immediately tried it out and while loading took a bit of time at first and was quite difficult, though from the third or forth shipment onward it got decidedly faster and easier. And especially with other players helping it’s a good and fast way to make some money.
Shenanigans with Wildriff
I also met someone called Wildriff, when he asked for help traveling from Area 18 to another place, because he could not get his ships out of storage in the Riker Memorial Spaceport due to some kind of computer malfunction.

Riker Memorial Spaceport – The main spaceport of the Planet ArcCorp with a unmistakable design, even from Orbit.

After I delivered him to a Spaceport, I made sure that after his Insurance provided him a new Ship, he could get it out of Storage and taking a look at his Anvil Pisces Rescue I though it might fit into my C1 Spirit. Though it in the end didn’t it let to this situation:

Money from a kind stranger
One day, when waking up I suddenly had a lot of UEC in my bank account. Having no idea who it was from, I held onto it at first. But seeing as the didn’t want it back even after some time, I decided to use it to buy a Anvil Carrack, as a more all round ship when flying with a crew. Especially since it also has a Medical Room, which can help a lot.

The Anvil Aerospace Carrack is a large ship for exploration but also an all rounder with a Hangar on top and swap able modules in the future.
Though it isn’t a dedicated fighting ship, It can do everything quite well. And in the future it will become quite a capable explorer, once the systems get unlocked by the manufacturer. It also is not really a freighter, but, if you look only at 16 SCU containers, it fits about 2 less than the Drake Caterpillar.
First time to Pyro with player2133322 for a hauling run
Keeping an eye on inbound messages on the open channels I notices someone was hasking with a little help with hauling some stuff, so I agreed, not knowing we would only pick up in Stanton but deliver the cargo in Pyro.

It was a very stressfull journey an the first time I ever fired any weapon, although only in training, as no actual threats got to us.

I got payed handsomely and decided to buy an Anvil Terrapin Medic with the money from this.
First time to Nyx as a Taxi for Sibidisah
With my brand new Terrapin Medic I directly found a new client on the open channels asking for Someone to bring them to Levski, which lies in the mostly free system Nyx. There most places are run bei smaller parties, which makes it less save than Stanton. The way there was quite long, but the pay was ok. Though my passanger wasn’t really up for conversation, having some enterainment up on one of the MFDs made it barably. Arriving at Levski was worthwhile though because the view was amazing and it was quite fun to land at.

Joining an Organization
As you by now know, I always keep an eye on the open com channel. And as it so happened, someone was talking with a person called SubDiamond about Organizations. The Org that SubDiamond talked about sounded quite nice, not to big and most importantly open to different play styles: The Crimson Armada.

So I decided to join and I got immediately pulled into the preparations and subsequent fight with a Valakkar. I almost died multiple times and needed to be brought back to a station for it’s T1 medical facilities more than once. Though worse than the worm were the other Citizens not from the Crimson Armada, that also wanted the valuable resources from the Valakkar.

Valakkar – Giant, acid spitting and secreting worms. Keep away from if you like your life! Though the resources that can be collected from their corpses are quite valuable and often lead to Citizen on Citizen violence.
I do not know whether or not I’ll stay in the Crimson Armada after that, but SubDiamond promised me that it usually is a lot more organized and it was a spur of the moment thing.
Conclusion
Well then, it was a very fun first week, being a full Citizen. I hope that I can even get a few of my friends to become a Citizen. The only question that remains is, what does the future hold?
From now on, I’ll try to write these logbook entries somewhat regularly.
